Other than air and water, food and shelter are the two elements we instinctively think of when we speak of life’s basic necessities… but--what about clothing?  We often forget how important clothing is in our daily lives. Proper clothing is just as essential as food and shelter.

Clothing provides warmth, confidence and pride. A warm coat or sweater provides warmth on a cold winter’s day, and proper fitting clothing is a source of pride and positive self-image.

While there are charities that strive to fulfill these necessities, the critical question is how accessible are they to the people in need?  How can we help the givers to give and the recipients to receive these necessities?

Change Up delivers hand-picked outfits based on the needs, wants and sizes of our qualified recipients. Each package is custom made by our volunteers and then shipped to our recipients living in transitional homes.

Coming together as a community to improve the quality of one’s life brings harmony and togetherness between the fortunate and the less fortunate.  Change Up believes that by donating proper fitting clothes will improve women and children’s day to day living conditions and in many ways assist in the cognitive, emotional and physical development in young children.
